ACR Homes On Campus Events at the University of Minnesota – Spring 2024

ACR Homes provides personalized & high-quality care for people with disabilities living in ACR’s 40+ group homes spread across the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area of Minnesota. Because of it’s proximity to campus, the valuable experience students gain for their future careers, internships, and flexibility in our part-time roles, ACR Homes has always had a large presence on campus in order to help students get connected to our caregiving jobs. WELCOME BACK RECRUITING TABLE

Date: Wednesday, January 24th

Time: Open house from 9am – 2pm CST

Location: First floor recruiting table in the Health Science Education Center – 526 Delaware St. SE Minneapolis, MN

Stop by our recruiting table to learn about caregiving jobs, healthcare internships, to schedule virtual interviews, and to enjoy free donuts and coffee as a welcome back to school! Anyone who signs in at the table will also be entered in a $200 Visa Gift Card drawing.

ON-CAMPUS JOB & INTERNSHIP FAIR

Date: Tuesday, January 30th

Time: Open house from 10am – 2pm CST

Location: Beacon Room of the Recreation & Wellness Center – 123 Harvard St. SE Minneapolis, MN

Join us on campus for our biggest event of the semester!

• Free lattes from Corner Coffee throughout the whole event
• Free donuts
• Free Raising Canes starting at 11:30am until supplies last
• Make a Valentine for a resident with disabilities at ACR Homes
• Talk with current students about part-time caregiving jobs at ACR Homes
• Learn about healthcare, social services, special education, and human services internships
• Schedule virtual job interviews with recruiters
• Spin the prize wheel to win dorm essential prizes, candy, ACR swag, or $5 gift cards
• Enter to win a $200 Visa gift card drawing when you sign in at the door

VIRTUAL JOB FAIR

Time: 1 hour event from 8pm – 9pm CST

Couldn’t attend an on-campus event hosted by ACR Homes? Join us virtually to learn about ACR’s jobs and internships. Also, as a special feature, hear from ACR Homes and University of Minnesota alumni who are in PA and PT programs or working in their future healthcare career. Get your questions answered about grad school, med-school, and PA school applications and find out how the experience at ACR Homes helped make each person a competitive applicant. Gift card prizes given throughout the duration of the event.
