ACR Homes, Weekend Direct Care Professional (with full benefits at 30-32hrs/wk)

Weekend Direct Care Professionals (with full benefits at 30-32 hours/week)  assist ACR residents with daily living including personal and health care needs, meals, transportation, and recreational and leisure activities specifically on the weekends. No experience is necessary.

Paid training is $17.50/hr for this Weekend Direct Care Professional position.

Employment Information:

Rate of Pay:

$19.50-21.50/hour for Friday 2pm-10pm, Saturday/Sunday 6am-10pm--dependent on placement location

$21.50-23.50/hour for Friday & Saturday awake overnight shifts 10pm-6am--dependent on placement location

Employment Type:
30-32 hours/week with full benefits, 4 shifts worked between Friday at 2pm and Sunday at 10pm.

$17.50/hour for initial training

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must have a drivers license and a relatively clean driving record
  • You must be able and willing to provide care for both male and female clients
  • You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • You must be able to work independently and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustment
  • You must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
  • WDCP employees must work at least 30-32 hours per week
  • Must be able to commit to this position for a minimum of 6 months
