Meet Deb
Deb has been with ACR Homes for almost 30 years, and has worn many hats. Starting as a weekend Direct Care Professional, within six months she was living-in as a Residential Supervisor. Deb lived-in with her family for 9 years.
Over her career with ACR, Deb has done IT, accounting and HR work; she's been a Residential Supervisor and a Program Director, and is now ACR's Director of Development, filling the openings and marketing ACR's services.
One of her favorite memories after her family moved out of the ACR home she supervised, was when her son had grown weary of walking in the community and simply climbed in the lap of a perfect stranger who was using a wheelchair. He was obviously very comfortable around people who have disabilities!
