ACR Homes Fall Festival

Overview:
Join us at ACR’s main office on Tuesday, September 26th between 1pm and 6pm for a fall festival! Community members and residents with disabilities at ACR Homes are invited to join together for a day of fun hosted by ACR Homes. Keep reading for more details about the event.
Carnival:
- On the day of our fall festival, visit tables with fun and simple carnival style games where you can play and win small prizes.
- Win a mini pumpkin and take it over to our craft table to decorate it for fall!
Job Fair:
Because ACR Homes provides care for adults with disabilities in over 40 group homes across the Twin Cities, we’re hiring at all of our locations. Visit our 2 recruiting booths to learn about our current openings.
- Talk to recruiters and current employees to learn about our open positions:
- Part-time Direct Care Professional (Work at least 12-16 hours/week)
- Full-time Direct Care Professional (Work at least 38 hours/week)
- Weekend Direct Care Professional (Work 30-32 hours/week on the weekends & get full benefits)
- Residential Supervisor/Group Home Manager (40-50 hours/week)
- Do an in-person interview during the event (no appointment necessary)
- Schedule a virtual job interview for a future date
Healthcare Skills Lab:
We’re always looking for ways to help people learn and grow, and so event attendees can walk through our healthcare skills lab and learn how to work with various pieces of medical equipment. You’ll learn things like:
- Taking blood pressure
- Medical terminology usage
- How to Hoyer a friend into a wheelchair
- What is oxygen saturation & how to measure it
- and more…
Free Food:
- ACR Homes will be catering FREE Raising Canes throughout the event (while supplies last)
- Make & take popcorn & candy bar where you can customize a bag to take home with you
Giveaways:
- Anyone who signs into our event will be entered into a drawing for a staycation valued at $400. Winners will be announced via email the day following the event.
- Enjoy winning ACR swag, $5 gift cards, and “life essentials” on our prize wheel.
