ACR Voted #20 in Top 200 Workplaces in Minnesota 

This is a significant achievement, especially in view of the staffing and budget challenges we’ve experienced since the pandemic. Healthcare companies like ACR Homes that provide 24/7 direct care have been severely impacted by a workforce shortage in recent years. Thanks to our amazing employees, ACR Homes stands out as the only healthcare provider among the top 20 large companies, ranking ahead of all other large health care providers and senior care services in Minnesota. 

Over 5000 organizations and 124,000 employees statewide, including over 700 employees of ACR Homes, were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces 2023 survey. The StarTribune engaged a research partner, Energage, to conduct the survey by gathering anonymous feedback on areas such as leadership, values, direction, communication, meaningfulness and benefits.

One of the survey questions that staff ranked as being most important in their rating of workplaces was, “My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful.”  ACR Homes won the Meaningfulness Award because of standing apart from all other participating employers in having such a high percentage of employees answer yes to this question.  We have long known that employees enjoy working for ACR Homes and Arthur’s Senior Care because providing care for people with disabilities and the elderly is a rewarding and very meaningful experience.
